ΕΧΗΙΒΙΤΙΟN: “Allspice | Michael Rakowitz & Ancient Cultures”

The Acropolis Museum reopens its temporary exhibition gallery, unveiling a compelling, multi-layered narrative that not only bridges contemporary art with ancient civilizations but also addresses issues of loss, restoration, repatriation, and the preservation of cultural heritage. On May 12, the project “Allspice | Michael Rakowitz & Ancient Cultures” opens, curated by the Museum’s General Director, Professor Nikolaos Stampolidis, and NEON Director Elina Kountouri. This marks the first part of a trilogy realized in collaboration with NEON and the Hellenic Ministry of Culture.
