This year, the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus makes a historic move. From May 15th to May 19th, the Main Stage of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center will host a significant co-production by Emillia Romagna Teatro featuring Samuel Beckett’s masterpiece, “Waiting for Godot.” The play, which defined theater in the second half of the 20th century, is presented for the first time at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center under the direction and scenic design of the renowned Theodoros Terzopoulos, who also oversees lighting and costumes.
