FULL MOON at the Acropolis Museum

On the occasion of the August Full Moon, on Saturday, August 9, 2025, the Acropolis Museum will extend its opening hours and remain open continuously from 9 a.m. until midnight. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the exhibition galleries and enjoy the view of the Sacred Rock bathed in moonlight beneath the Athenian night sky. Admission will be with a standard general entrance ticket, while the Museum’s ticket counters and gift shops will close at 11:30 p.m.
