National Museum of Modern Art

EMST’s new exhibition programme marks a fresh direction for the museum, highlighting contemporary artistic perspectives from across the Mediterranean and Southeast Europe. The flagship exhibition South by Southeast brings together more than 100 works by 50 artists from over 20 countries, accompanied by a tribute to pioneering sculptor George Lappas and the immersive multimedia installation VOICES by Margarita Athanasiou. Together, the exhibitions explore themes of identity, memory and cultural belonging through a contemporary lens.
