THEATRE: The Tiger Lillies in Epidaurus

The legendary British cult cabaret trio The Tiger Lillies returns to Greece this summer for a landmark production of Euripides’ The Bacchae at the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus on July 10–11. Directed by Javor Gardev and presented as a major co-production of the Athens Epidaurus Festival, the performance features the band not only as composers and live musicians but also as mysterious Dionysian storytellers woven into the action itself.
